TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. BOOKINGS, PAYMENT AND ATTENDANCE
Submission of an online payment is regarded as a firm booking and acceptance of these terms and conditions (either as a SPACE+ Member or Delegate).
Payment via invoicing is regarded as a firm booking and acceptance of these terms and conditions. However the booking will not be confirmed until full payment has been received. Payment in full must have been received to attend any of the SPACE+ events.
2. PRIVACY
The personal information supplied in connection with your booking, membership or acceptance to attend a SPACE+ event will be held by SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) as a record of membership and attendance and parties expressing interest. By booking this membership or attending an event, the parties concerned are agreeing that the organisers may use that personal information to contact them by email, direct mail, telephone or fax, in order to supply information relevant to this membership, or about other events and opportunities that the organisers are planning and feel may be of interest to them. The organisers may also share this information with its partners and event sponsors in order for them to contact the members about other products and services which may be of interest to the members or attendees. You have the right to object to this processing and, if you wish to do so, you can update your preferences by contacting us at rob@space-plus.org. 3 & 4. CANCELLATIONS, SUBSTITUTIONS, & POSTPONEMENT
MEMBERSHIPS
3.1. Memberships cannot be cancelled for the period booked, but can be cancelled up to 24hrs before the renewal date. If cancellation is made within the 24hrs period before renewal date or after then payment will automatically be charged for the following period. Please send all cancellation requests directly to us in writing at space@eventbooking.uk.com.
3.2. SPACE+ Memberships include events as part of the membership. In the event of any of these events being cancelled, SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) accepts no liability towards the members. If the membership plan was booked specifically to attend an in-person event which is then cancelled, the organisers will take that into consideration and where appropriate extend memberships to cover a similar future event. There will not be any additional liability to SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd), event hosts or any other individual associated with the event organization.
3.3. SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions cannot be made for SPACE+ Solo Membership under any circumstance (including illness), other than the original Member leaving the company. Company Memberships can have substitutions made at any time.
3.4. CHANGES AND POSTPONEMENT
SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) reserves the right to make alterations to the events in the calendar and each event programme, venue and timings at any time. In the event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the events are postponed or the dates being changed, the organisers shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the member. The bookings shall remain in force and if by re-arrangement or postponement the in-person event can take place but outside the members membership dates, SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) will look at each individual case and provide an extension to their membership where appropriate.
TICKET PURCHASES (ie non-Members)
4.1 Refunds are not given on delegate tickets under any circumstances.
4.2 However, the delegate is entitled to a substitution.
4.3 If you wish to substitute a delegate, you must notify SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) in writing at least 24 hours before the event begins.
4.4 One delegate ticket cannot be shared by two people under any circumstance.
4.5. In the event that an event is postponed (for any reason), the conference organisers reserve the right to reschedule the event within 6 months of the original date. All delegate tickets remain valid.
4.6. After six month postponement period (4.5) elapses, the delegate will be entitled to a full refund.
5. CHANGES AND POSTPONMENT
SPACE+ reserves the right to make alterations to the conference programme, venue and timings at any time. In the event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the conference is being postponed or the dates being changed, the organisers shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate.
6. LIABILITY
Views expressed by speakers, sponsors and/or exhibitors are their own. SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) cannot accept liability for any advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker, sponsor and/or exhibitor at the event or in any material provided to delegates. In addition, SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) shall not be responsible or liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of the services or information provided in connection with the event
7. INSURANCE
It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the in-person live events. SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.
8. PHOTOS & FILMING
For promotional purposes, photos and video recordings will be taken during the in-person live events and recordings will be taken of all virtual keynotes, big talks, seminars, discussions, sessions and roundtables . Members/delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the organisers in writing prior to the event.
9. WEBSITE & LINKS
All associated SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) websites may link to other websites and networking tools provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which SPACE+ (part of 14&B Ltd) takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any website linking to this website.
10. VISA REQUIREMENT
It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of his/her visa requirements. Attendees who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Attendees should contact the nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications.
11. GENERAL
SPACE+ reserve the right at all time to change, amend, add or remove any of the above terms without prior notice If one or more of the conditions outlined in these Terms & Conditions should be or become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply. These Terms & Conditions apply to all members and all participants of any SPACE+ organised events both virtual and in-person, including speakers, hosts, co-hosts, sponsors and exhibitors.
14&B Ltd is the owner organiser of SPACE+ events.
Data Protection
We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements and for no longer than six years (unless a longer period is required by law).
In certain circumstances you can ask us to delete your data: see 'Your rights' below for further information.
In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.
